Signode’s inflatable Air Bags are the perfect fit to fill the voids inside the container. Depending on the gap to be filled, the correct size of an Air Bag is chosen which eliminates any movement of the product during transit. The pneumatic digital inflation technology ensures that the bags are filled faster with exact pressure.
Traditionally these gaps were filled with EPS (expanded polystyrene) or corrugated fitments to arrest the movement of the product inside the container. Since the gaps are not fixed in size and shape, it was left to the worker to fit the adequate and right cushioning.
